Funded on April 8, 1976, The Liberia Marketing Association, Inc. is a corporate entity operating in the Republic of Liberia, and was established by an Act by the National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia for the following aims and objectives:

To engage in business and muster resources to strengthen the commercial capacity of its members.

To advance through cooperative movement and effort, the business ability of its members.

To contribute to the development of the economic, social and cultural welfare of its members in particular and the people of the Republic of Liberia in general.
4.To contribute to the development of the economic, social and cultural welfare of its members in particular and the people of the Republic of Liberia in general.
5.To acquire and own property whose value shall be unlimited, real and personal, by gift, purchase, devised, and/or bequest in furtherance of the purposes for which the Association is being established and to manage, control, lease, mortgage, sell and/or convey these assets for the benefit of the Association.
6.To adopt by-laws which would provide for the overall governance of the Association
7.To engage in any and all other acts and activities as the law provides and as are done by similar corporative bodies, including banking and agriculture.
